CONCEPT IN RELATION TO THE VIEWER:  Women’s fantasy life, of glamour, fashion and fellowship in the big city.

PROS AND CONS: This series is what it is.  It is engaging to watch because it was one of the few dramas made for television that is extremely well done and is in a 30 minute format.  If a story is told well, you don’t need to take a lot of time to do it.

On this second review of the series the two things that popped out at me more than anything else were the exceptional music that perfectly captures the intimate urban vibe of New York City and the hilarious script.

In each episode there is one scene that is both funny and uncomfortable to watch, such as watching the spanking video that Amanda found in her boyfriend's apartment and watched with Carrie.  It had me laughing out loud.
