FORMAT: Laserdisc
TIME RIDDEN / FILM LENGTH: 1 hour 42 minutes
DISTANCE RIDDEN WHILE VIEWING: 23.1 miles
TOTAL CINEMA MILES LOGGED: 3159.9 miles
SYNOPSIS: Rogue cop and police dog bond while hunting down drug dealers.
CONCEPT IN RELATION TO THE VIEWER: Everyone in Hollywood has to pay their dues. Women have the casting couch, men have to make films with animals.
PROS AND CONS: Great movie if you are a dog lover. Otherwise, steer clear of this film.
As I watched the film, I had a hard time figuring out if James Belushi was just a bad actor or if this was just a really bad script and director. There is the possibility that it was all three.
The film became very formulaic early on and after that, it was basically sleep walking through the end of the movie. Several scenes either had no real relevance to the film or just dragged on way too long.
This film is a part of my LaserDisc Collection.
