(Cardio Workout And Reviewing Movies At The Same Time)
DATE REVIEWED: 02/15/2016
FORMAT: Streaming (Google Play)
TIME RIDDEN / FILM LENGTH: 1 hour 38 minutes
DISTANCE RIDDEN WHILE VIEWING: 20.7 miles
TOTAL CINEMA MILES LOGGED: 4146.1 miles
SYNOPSIS: A young single woman goes to a fantasy park to live in the 16th century world of Jane Austen.
CONCEPT IN RELATION TO THE VIEWER: When you are a kid you want to ride the Matterhorn at Disneyland forever. When you finally get the chance, you find out it wasn’t as great a fantasy as you thought.
PROS AND CONS: Not a bad film and in many ways somewhat cute and endearing. Keri Russell is fun to watch and the scenery is right out of Jane Austen.
The film has its moments when the lines blur between the guests at the resort and the actors that are playing their roles.
When we get to follow the actors back to their ‘lounge’ and see them smoking and lounging in Hawaiian shirts that you realize that it is like being backstage at Disneyland.
