CINEMA CYCLE
(Cardio Workout And Reviewing Movies At The Same Time)
DATE REVIEWED: 02/05/2016
TITLE: Bulletproof Heart
FORMAT: LaserDisc
TIME RIDDEN / FILM LENGTH: 1 hour 38 minutes
DISTANCE RIDDEN WHILE VIEWING: 21.7 miles
TOTAL CINEMA MILES LOGGED: 4067.7 miles
SYNOPSIS: An organized crime hit man falls in love with the terminally ill women that he is contracted to kill.
CONCEPT IN RELATION TO THE VIEWER: Mobster have feelings and self doubt? Every cool guy has to have a lackey / side-kick. Forget Scarlett Johannson, my new girl crush is Mimi Rogers.
PROS AND CONS: I didn’t really know what to make of this film at first. It took about 20 minutes to get its footing and complete all the character development along with a plot line.
Once it gets moving, the film is actually very interesting in that the viewer really has no idea where it is going. What falls flat in the film is the acting of Anthony Lapaglia and his side kick played by Matt Craven. Neither are very engaging or believable in their rolls.
Mimi Rogers on the other hand is smokin hot in this film as the femme fatale. Ms. Rogers steals almost every scene she is in and her erotic prowess is evident in the intimate sex scenes in the film.
This film is a part of my LaserDisc Collection.
