PROS AND CONS:  A great film.  One of the few LaserDiscs that I actually went looking for in order to add it to my collection.  It isn’t an easy film to find.

There are several things that make this film fascinating to watch.  Once past the “Omega Man” premise, the path that the protagonist follows is both funny and unnerving at the same time.  The viewer can envision doing the same things.

The second is the visual style and the camera work that really leads the viewer to think that there is no one else left on the planet.  Finally, the soundtrack that accompanies the visual for the film is stunning and leaves the viewer with a very haunting and uneasy feeling by the end of the film.
