DATE VIEWED: 09/21/2015

FORMAT: HD-DVD

TIME RIDDEN / FILM LENGTH: 1 hour 36 minutes

DISTANCE RIDDEN WHILE VIEWING: 22.9 miles

TOTAL CINEMA MILES LOGGED: 2764.8 miles

SYNOPSIS: Parents hires a behavioral specialist to try and convince their 30 year old son to move out of there home.

CONCEPT IN RELATION TO THE VIEWER:   The new dating scene and how many people chose to mooch off their parents instead of taking on the responsibility of relying on themselves.

PROS AND CONS: A good film.  Parker and MacConaughey make a good pairing and both are engaging.  Zoey Daschanel is also likable as the quirky roommate.  Kathy Bates and Terry Bradshaw are hilarious as the parents eager to get rid of their son.

That said, one of the flaws of the film is the fantasy aspect of the lives of these people.  They are all a bit to perfect.  Perfect houses, perfect cars, perfect jobs, no bad hair days.

The band of ‘dudes’ that are all single and still living at home always have time to go rock climbing, surfing, mountain biking, etc.  They do everything but work for a living.  So the new reality that Hollywood wants us to believe is that good looking white guys can work for 10 hours a week and make in the 6 figures.  Doubtful.

While the film is predictable, it is entertaining to watch, with good technical competency (acting, cinematography, soundtrack, acting)
