THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL POST!
I am a student of history and the changing times in which we live. Those changing times encompass the past 200 years. In that time there have been a few instances when there has been a sizmic shift in human culture. The death of the Czar by the Bolsheviks, the French Revolution, Crystal Nacht were others, and I get the sense that we are seeing this again. It isn't just Trump. The Arab spring, Brexit, North Korea, the nuclear standoff between India and Pakistan, etc., all show a world that is shifting. Nature dictates that change is good and indeed inevitable. You can't have a colorful spring without a harsh winter. It appears that things may get very cold before we see flowers bloom again. The fact that POTUS is taking so many steps to reverse the past 20 years is just another reminder of this. (Below - The five top headlines from today's Reuters news feed.)
