DATE REVIEWED: 04/27/2017

FORMAT: LaserDisc

TIME RIDDEN / FILM LENGTH: 1 hour 59 minutes

DISTANCE RIDDEN WHILE VIEWING: 28.4 miles

TOTAL CINEMA MILES LOGGED: 6567.2 miles

SYNOPSIS: Two senior dancers reconnect after several years and discover the differences in the paths they have taken.

CONCEPT IN RELATION TO THE VIEWER: “Chick Flick”.  Seriously, there is little her that would interest a man, with the exception of learning how women think and what is important to them.

PROS AND CONS:  This is a good film. The plot is engaging and the performances are well done, although I could have used about 15 minutes less ballet.

There are several plots here along with a well written and interesting story line that has several themes, the core of which is maternity over career and vice versa.

Then there is Mikhail Baryshnikov.  Mr. Eye-Candy of the 70s.  Great dancer, boyish good looks, not a great actor.  But, owwww, how those woman loved him in his prime.
