He Saw / She Saw - A Million Ways To Die In The West
Sue:
This was an hilarious film. At first it seems odd, but it turns out to be one vulgar sight gag after another. I was literally laughing out loud through most of the film.
Bruce:
Pretty much anything Seth MacFarlane does is genius. I expected this to be a rather silly film, but found it be absolutely hilarious, especially the unrated version, where profanity was the primary weapon and not guns.
He Saw / She Saw - Escape Plan
Sue:
Stalone was the big attraction for me. An entertaining film that you can't predict the ending to. It gets a bit silly near the end, but boys with guns will be boys with guns.
Bruce:
This was my second viewing of the film. It is better than you think, with a thinking mans plot interspersed with a lot of violence and gun play. You know that in the end, 'Arnold' is going to unhook a machine gun and start blowing people away....which he does here with relish.

He Saw / She Saw - TV Detectives - Dragnet
The Big Hit & Run
The Big Bunko
Sue:
Entertaining mostly for its nostalgia and how different customs and manners were back in the day. Apparently, in L.A. in 1955, you didn't need a warrant to walk into someone's house and start questioning them.
Bruce:
This is Dragnet before it was picked up by major studios. In the early days, this was pretty much Jack Webb's show and he did it the way he wanted to, which was quick, staccato, direct and over righteous and determined. After watching this, you will be glad that police don't operate this way any more.
He Saw / She Saw - The Hitcher
Sue:
I was hoping for a good horror movie. However, this movie was awful and made absolutely no sense. I bailed after the first 50 minutes.
Bruce:
Odd film. Good production value, camera work, stunts, acting, etc.... But the film fails in the plot / screenplay department. More of a nightmarish fantasy in a world with suspended reality. A clear motivation for the 'Hitchers' actions are never fully explained.

He Saw / She Saw - The Sea Hawk
Sue:
A lavish film that is fun to watch. However some of the scenes went on too long.
Bruce:
Entertaining in the extreme. This is the Star Wars of its day, with lavish sets before the onset of special effects. I found it charmkng how the whole film went sephia tone in the New World, but went back to black & white in Europe. The Movietone News reel and cartoon shorts included in this matinee edition were a rare treat.
He Saw / She Saw - Sea Of Love
Sue:
I like Al Pacino so I like this movie. There's a lot of steamy sex and it's a good mystery.
Bruce:
A better film than I expected. John Goodman is very good in this role. And Ellen Barkin's dresses are so small and tight I'm amazed that she can't even breathe in them.
